Welcome to The Porchlight, a newly built 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home where the open-concept living room takes center stage. Designed with gatherings in mind, this bright and airy space frames the lake at every angle and creates the perfect backdrop for connection—whether you’re curling up for movie night, hosting friends, or simply soaking in the views.

Upstairs, the primary suite is a true retreat, featuring a spacious ensuite bath and sweeping lake views that greet you each morning. Two additional upstairs bedrooms and one on the main level provide flexibility and comfort for groups of all sizes. Nearly every window keeps the water in sight, making the lake the heart of your stay.

The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped for everything from casual snacks to full meals. An oversized island seats six and serves as the primary dining space—ideal for family-style dinners, board games, or early-morning coffee overlooking the lake.

Step outside to a lush, level lawn that gently slopes to year-round deep water. Spend afternoons paddling with the provided kayaks, lounging on the covered dock, or gathering at the lakeside firepit under the stars. Multiple seating areas make it easy to relax while kids play or friends share a drink at sunset.

Throughout the home, you’ll find Smart TVs, modern finishes, and cozy touches that make your stay seamless. As with all Wishlist homes, everything is included—from linens and towels to soaps and coffee—so you can simply arrive and start enjoying the lake.

⚓ DOCK & LAKE FAQ
• Dock and water: Typical Summer (~8+ ft depth) Winter (~5+ ft). Ideal for swimming, fishing, and tying off pontoon or ski boats.
• Boat rentals: Boat rentals are available through Lake Girl Boat Rentals on Lake Norman. Contact info and booking recommendations are sent automatically once you book.
• Boat lift: The lift and covered slip is not available for boat docking - but there are cleats on the sides of the dock for use to tie up.
• Life jackets: We provide some universal life jackets and 2 kayaks. Please bring properly fitted USCG-approved vests for young children.

🕸️ Spider webs outside?
We de-web and treat docks and porches regularly, but spiders can rebuild a web in just 30–60 minutes. Lake life!

⏰ Can I check in early or check out late?
We already offer THE most favorable check-in/out times compared to other local companies. We follow our standard times to allow for proper cleaning. Requests may be available during the off-season, or if it's not a same day turnaround.

🔥 Is firewood provided?
No—but local grocery stores sell bundles right out front. Grab a lighter too, as they tend to disappear and we don’t stock them (liability).

- A maximum of 2 pets are welcome at this property with an added fee. Bringing pets without prior approval from Wishlist will result in a $250 fine per pet.
- Please note that parties and events are not permitted at this home.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Violations are subject to a $250 fine.
- We strictly enforce occupancy and noise limits, as the county can shut us down. Fines start at $250 and go up from there per violation, with the right to evict all occupants with no refunds.
- Government-issued ID and a security deposit, when required, will be requested after booking.
- Any form of credit card fraud will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent.
