Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to answer your enquiry and host your stay. We do not sell your personal information, we do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.

This site sets no tracking cookies at all, which is why you were not interrupted by a cookie banner on your way in.

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry form — the homeowner revenue estimate, or the real estate contact form — we receive what you typed into it. Depending on the form that is your name, email address, phone number, property details, and any notes you add.

We use it to reply to you and to follow up about the specific thing you asked about. Nothing more.

Information collected automatically

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages people find useful. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you, follow you to other websites, or record your IP address in a form we can tie back to you individually.

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or session recording on this site.

Cookies

The only cookie this site sets is a login session for our own staff administering the Bnb Store. It is strictly necessary for that person to stay signed in, it is not set for ordinary visitors, and it is not used to track anyone.

Because we set no analytics or advertising cookies, there is no consent banner to click through.

Bookings and payments

Reservations, payments, rental agreements, and guest records are handled by OwnerRez, our property management system. When you book, your booking and payment details are processed by OwnerRez and its payment processor under their own privacy terms, not stored on this website.

We never see or store your full card number.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the services required to operate this business, and only to the extent each one needs:

• OwnerRez — bookings, payments, guest communication, and rental agreements.
• Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Supabase — product data for the Bnb Store. It holds no guest or booking records.
• Our email and CRM provider — so an enquiry you submit reaches a person who can answer it.
• Brokerage partners — only if you specifically ask us to connect you with an agent for a purchase or sale.

Affiliate links

Our Bnb Store links to products on Amazon. Wishlist Vacations participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, which means we may earn a commission when you buy something after following one of those links. It never changes the price you pay.

We only list things we actually put in our own homes.

How long we keep things

Enquiries are kept as long as we are reasonably still in a conversation with you, and then archived. Booking and tax records are kept as long as North Carolina law requires us to keep them.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will, except where we are legally required to retain a booking record.

Your choices

Email us at support@wishlistnc.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to cite a specific law to make that request, and we will not make it difficult.

If you asked us to contact you and changed your mind, say so in a reply and the follow-up stops.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Reservations must be made by an adult.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes affecting existing guests will be communicated directly.
