Welcome to Driftwood — a peaceful Lake Norman retreat tucked at the back of a quiet cove on 2 wooded acres. Enjoy lake views, two large porches, a lakeside firepit, Blackstone grill, outdoor dining, kayaks, and paddleboards, plus a detached guest suite with its own kitchen, bath, laundry, and queen bedroom. With minimal neighbors, modern comforts, and room to spread out, it’s an easy place to slow down, gather, and enjoy the lake.

The main house features an open living, kitchen, and dining layout with a fully stocked kitchen, major appliances, real wood dining table, coffee provided, and Smart TVs in every bedroom. The king suite includes lake views and an ensuite full bathroom, while the additional queen bedroom and bunk room give groups flexible sleeping space.

One of Driftwood’s best features is the detached guest suite, which feels like its own little home. It includes a full kitchen, queen bed, full bathroom, private laundry, unique design details, lake views, and everything needed for added privacy during your stay.

Outside, enjoy two large porches, outdoor dining, lounge chairs, a Blackstone grill, lakeside firepit, 100 feet of shoreline, 2 kayaks, and 2 paddleboards. While there is no boat access from this property, the lake is still accessible for paddling and relaxing along the shoreline. Lake levels are currently lower due to drought conditions, but the cove typically has water throughout and offers a peaceful setting for enjoying Lake Norman.

The house was set up very nice…very clean, a nice mattress/bedding on every bed, plenty of room for everyone, nice furniture, all the basics you need to cook, a fresh kitchen sponge, plenty of fresh towels set out for you in each room, a cute fire pit area, kayaks and paddle boards were awesome to have use of, and just a beautiful view. It’s far enough away to have privacy and a peaceful area. Yet, it’s very easy to get to a grocery store, etc… The guest house was an amazing addition. It was super comfortable with everything you need down to its own washer and dryer…like your own get away at the get away. Thank you for hosting such an amazing house!

This place was great! It is just as pictured on the end of a quiet street. The main house was large enough for our families(4 adults, a 4 month old, and a dog). The beds were comfortable. The smaller house was perfect for our son and daughter in law to go take a nap/relax while we entertained our granddaughter in the main house. The communication was outstanding. We had to reach out at least twice-a small question and then a bigger request. Each time the response was prompt and professional! Our son was able to take one of the provided kayaks down the lake for a nice ride. The view from the decks were amazing as we saw a lot of different wildlife. We enjoyed cooking Father’s Day dinner on the Blackstone grill that is provided at the Drifter(the smaller home) Publix and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away in case you need to grab something. Spending our son’s first Father’s Day with him was special and this house played a major role in that. We will definitely return again.
