Blue Heron Hideaway features a spacious layout that comfortably accommodates up to 13, guests, making it ideal for gatherings with friends and family. The main level boasts a master suite with a king bed, Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual vanity. Wake up to serene views and enjoy a morning coffee on the covered back porch that stretches across the entire backside of the house, offering plenty of space to lounge and relax.

The spacious open-concept living room invites connection with large windows, comfy seating, and a smart TV for laid-back evenings. The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, perfect for cooking big meals or easy breakfasts.

On the lower level, the temperature-controlled garage has been transformed into a fully loaded game room with ping pong, foosball, Connect 4, and a smart TV—guaranteed to keep kids (and kids-at-heart) entertained rain or shine.

Step outside to the expansive, covered lakeview porch—a true highlight of the home. Enjoy your morning coffee, grill dinner on the BBQ, or simply unwind as the sun sets. You’ll receive hotel-level cleanliness, fast local support, and all the essentials stocked—including linens, paper goods, toiletries, coffee, and more. With keyless entry and personalized service, you can focus on what matters: relaxing and making memories by the lake.

🕸️ Spider webs outside?
We de-web and treat docks and porches regularly, but spiders can rebuild a web in just 30–60 minutes. Lake life!
On that note, geese love this property and may use the boat launch as a bathroom - we also tend to this frequently.

⏰ Can I check in early or check out late?
We already offer THE most favorable check-in/out times compared to other local companies. We follow our standard times to allow for proper cleaning. Requests may be available during the off-season, or if it's not a same day turnaround.

🔥 Is firewood provided?
No—but local grocery stores sell bundles right out front. Grab a lighter too, as they tend to disappear and we don’t stock them (liability).

🛋️ Can I use the indoor fireplaces?
Our indoor fireplaces are decorative and not intended for use. Again, a standard in our area for managers due to insurance and liability.

⚓ DOCK & LAKE FAQ
• Dock and water: Summer (~8ft+ depth) Winter (~5ft+). Ideal for swimming, fishing, and tying off pontoon or ski boats.
• Boat rentals: Boat rentals are available through Lake Girl Boat Rentals on Lake Norman. Contact info and booking recommendations are sent automatically once you book.
• Boat lift: Not available for guest use. Cleats and pads are located on the side of the dock to tie up and access with stairs.
• Life jackets: We provide some universal life jackets, 2 paddleboards, and 2 kayaks. Please bring properly fitted USCG-approved vests for young children.

- Pets are not allowed at this home and will result in a $250 fine per pet.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Violations are subject to a $250 fine.
- We strictly enforce occupancy and noise limits, as the county can shut us down. Fines starting at $250 and up to $10,000 per violation, with the right to evict all occupants with no refunds.
- Government-issued ID and a security deposit, when required, will be requested after booking.
- Any form of credit card fraud will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent.
